What should a Gulf cover letter say?

When do Gulf employers expect a cover letter?
Often they do not. A Bayt or LinkedIn easy-apply box wants the CV. An email to a named person, or a form with a letter upload, is the case for one page. If the advert says CV only, send the CV. A second file that tells a different story is worse than silence. I have no count of how many Dubai employers reject a missing letter, and I will not invent one.
When you do send one, keep it short. Name the role, the city you live in, the visa route you actually hold, and the notice in the contract. Then give two pieces of work a reader could ask about. Those two pieces must already be on the CV. The letter is not the place to upgrade a title or to add a metric.
The Dubai cover letter guide walks through the same shape, with a fictional sample and the sources for work permits and job offers. This page is the draft tool. Use the guide when you want the rules. Use the tool when you want a first draft from your own CV and one job ad.
What should the visa and notice lines say?
Match the CV. If the CV says employment residence and 60 days, the letter says that. If you are still in Pakistan or India, say you need an employer to recruit you from outside the UAE. Do not write transferable visa. Do not write immediately available while the contract still has notice left. The visa-status guide and the notice guide are the longer versions. The generator will only print the visa and notice strings you type into the form. If you leave them blank, it should not invent them. Check that it did not.
How do you read the evidence table?
The draft comes back with the letter, a subject line, a list of matches, and a list of gaps. A match pairs something the job ad asked for with a line that came from your CV. If the evidence is not something you recognise, delete that sentence from the letter. A gap is a requirement the CV did not support. Leave it out. Do not paste the gap into the letter to look complete. A missing licence or a missing language is safer as a gap than as a claim.
The model is instructed not to add employers, dates, titles, or numbers that are not in the CV. Instructions are not a guarantee. You are the last editor. If a sentence sounds like a template, cut it. The resume humanizer is for the CV itself, not a promise that a letter will fool anyone.
Three fictional patterns, not people
These are shapes, with invented names. Do not copy the employers or the dates.
A nurse applying in Dubai: one paragraph on the ward and the licence status that is already on the CV, then the city, the visa, and the notice. No claim about DHA or DOH unless the CV already states the licence.
An accountant: the system they used and the kind of close they ran, copied from a bullet. Then visa and notice. No revenue figure that the CV does not contain.
A driver: the licence class and the vehicle type from the CV, the city they live in, and whether they need sponsorship from abroad. No accident-free streak they did not write.
What happens to the text?
The CV and the job ad are sent so the draft can be written. They are not stored as an account and they are not used to train a model. Do not include an Emirates ID, a passport number, or a home address you would not put on the letter. The privacy policy covers the same point for the resume checker. The notice calculator on the resignation page stays in the browser. This generator does not.
