Article 53 gives the employer 14 days from that end date to pay the wages and the other entitlements. Work-permit and residence cancellation have no day count from the resignation date in the sources below, so those rows say check with MOHRE, and the grace period is dated only once the residence permit is cancelled.
When does notice end after you resign in the UAE?

Article 7 of Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022 sets the application, the documents, any late-permit fines, and an acknowledgment that entitlements were paid. The MoHRE cancellation service also asks the worker to sign, with a few exceptions. The row says check with MOHRE.
When is the residence visa cancelled?
The sponsor files it after MoHRE cancels the work permit. The u.ae residence page says the employee signs the MoHRE step, then the employer applies to ICP. GDRFA Dubai asks for that cancellation extract. Those pages give no day count from the last working day, so the row says check with MOHRE.
When does the grace period end?

Which amendments are in the law PDF?
The MoHRE file is the decree and its amendments. The only amendment notes in it are Article 8, by Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2022, and Article 54, by Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2023. Articles 43 and 53 have no amendment note there.
