CVPage AI ("we", "us") operates cvpage.org — a resume credibility tool and career guides publisher. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information you provide
When you paste or upload a resume, that text is transmitted to our servers for analysis. Optional job descriptions are processed the same way. If you email us, we receive your message content and email address.
How we use resume content
- Generate credibility audits, heatmaps, critiques, and suggested rewrites
- Compare resume text to a job description when you provide one (ATS keyword analysis)
- Operate, secure, and debug the service (short-lived server logs)
We do not sell your resume text. We do not use your submissions to train machine learning models.
Storage and retention
Resume processing is designed to be ephemeral: we do not maintain user accounts or a permanent library of your documents by default. Server and CDN logs may retain IP address, browser type, timestamps, and request metadata for a limited period for security and reliability.
Third-party processors
We use cloud hosting and AI inference providers to run analyses. These processors handle data only to perform the service on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Standard web analytics may collect aggregated usage data.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies may be used for site function. If display advertising (including Google AdSense) is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads per their policies. You can control cookies in your browser and via Google Ads Settings.
Our site may include an ads.txt file when advertising is active to declare authorized ad sellers.
What not to submit
Do not submit government IDs, health records, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal data unrelated to a job application.
Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Contact us at hello@cvpage.org with subject line "Privacy".
Children
The service is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do.
